ViewML uses Microwindows to display images. Microwindows itself contains
theimage decoding routines. Displaying animated GIF's is difficult in this
environment, because of the updating needed continuously. Currently,
Microwindows does not support animated GIF's.

just that the code to cyle through the sub-pictures never
got written...
