The original intent for JS support with ViewML was to support anything that
kde's kfm did - which is to say, not much. ViewML isn't based on the konq
code base, but the old kfm one (much smaller). This supported a limited
javascript (for things like mouse overs) but not much else.
Adding "full" JS support to ViewML would take some effort. The framework is
there, but none of the backend to really support it is present, currently. I
would start with the existing JS code entry points, then toss all of the
existing code to plug in something else. Unfortunately, I don't quite know
what I'd put in it's place. Does anyone have any input on this?

I want to add javascript support to viewml, any kind of advice is
appreciated.
It seems that part of viewml is from kde's konqueror browser, but I am not
clear about the effect of viewml's source code in jscript directory. These
source code seems odd and I doubt if viewml can support minimal javascript
just as it is said on webpage.
